What you’ll find here is more than a mere book. It is a reckoning and a resurrection, a letter to the parts of myself I once abandoned to survive.

I didn't write The Poet’s Diary to have it polished; I created it from raw emotion. It began as a private confession in the quiet spaces where my grief had no audience. I wrote to share my sadness about my father's death. I wrote it for the trauma I faced that tried to hold me back. Then, somewhere in the rawness of that truth, I found healing.

These words come from love. They reflect my mother’s strength and those who supported me. They show that I am not defined by my past but by who I choose to be.

This book is for the late nights; I didn’t think I’d survive, the memories that still ache, and the people who never left. I speak for the inner child who still waits for someone to listen. I also honor the woman I’ve become: tender, fierce, and resilient.

If you find pieces of yourself in these pages, know you are not alone. This book is a mirror, a hand reaching back through the dark.

Welcome to The Poet’s Diary. May it remind you that pain can be a passage and poetry a way home.
